Darsfield EarthCare & Farm-Tech Foundation (Darsfoundation) is Agriculture in Environment Civil Society Organisation (AECSO) with the intention to guide farmers’

  • In best farm practices for cultivation of stable foods (especially fruits, vegetables, tubers and grains) all year round in alleviating poverty and
  • Protecting the environment by mitigating the effect of climate change.

Darsfoundation is assisting Community Based (CBO’s) and Farmer Based Organisations (FBO’s) and also assisting association of spontaneous farmers’ base organisations in the rural community with capacity building, farm inputs, micro-financing and access to domestic and international markets.

These projects would aid in creating jobs for our rural women and youth societies and availability of farm produce in many homes at cheap affordable prices. It is also intended to make available raw materials for industries and sustained alternative livelihood in rural communities for development of the women and the youths through sustainable agriculture.

It is expected that these projects will reduce unhealthy dependence on natural forest resources, provide employment, reduce crime and increase the socio-economic status of the communities, develop hidden talents in our youths into taking the opportunities that abound in natural resources and sustainable agriculture.

committed to the development of the poor, development of the under-developed communities with little or no rural economic activities and alleviation of poverty among rural poor in the Volta region (Hohoe, Ho, Ketu-South & Kpeve Assemblies), Eastern region ( Akuapem South & Anum-Bosso), Greater Accra region (Ga West & Ada), Northern region (Bamboi) and Brong- Ahafo (Tachiman Municipal Assembly).

Darsfoundation social responsibility is to give back a sense of belonging and ownership to those “deprived and the poor” that would normally not be able to access any form of assistance from any formal sectors more especially the women groups and the youths.

It was  established as an Agriculture in Environment Civil Society Organisation (AECSO) in 2006, with the registration number G26,023 and operating in Ghana and part of Togo.
